Phil Chick has worked for Arch Cape since 2006, serving as District Manager since 2014. After earning his degree at Depauw and Purdue Universities he headed to Oregon to pursue an environmental based career
Previously working for the Oregon Park and Recreation Department and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Phil has an appreciation for clean water, tall trees, and outdoor recreation.
He likes working in this small community between the forest and the ocean, and providing clean, safe water .
Matt Gardner has worked for Arch Cape since 2016.
Matt serves as the water and wastewater operator for both districts.
Previously working for Cannon Beach Rural Fire Protection District, Matt has an understanding and dedication to community service and public health and safety.
When not working he enjoys fishing, woodworking and mountain biking in the forests behind Arch Cape.
A native Oregonian, Steve especially loves this part of the Oregon coast and has lived here with his wife Joanne for the past twenty years. Attending Oregon State and Portland State Universities, he graduated with a degree in finance and computer programming, was an artillery officer in the U.S. Marine Corps for seven years and then served as a controller and treasurer in the San Francisco financial district for fifteen years before establishing a consulting practice with Silicon Valley startups for an additional eighteen year period.
