Governance

The Arch Cape Domestic Water Supply District and the Arch Cape Sanitary District are distinct, separate legal entities governed with a common purpose.

Directors are volunteers who serve without compensation and are elected in Clatsop County special district elections to four year terms.

The two full time employees of the water district also provide service to the sanitary district who share other costs as well under an intergovernmental agreement (IGA).

The service areas for the sanitary district overlaps that of the Arch Cape water district and the Cannon View Park (CVP) water district in the northern end of the community.

Regular monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM.  Meetings will be held at the Arch Cape Fire Hall and via Zoom which may be accessed through links available on the Home page.  The public is welcome.
